SEPA Direct Debit

My EU Pay has joined SEPA Direct Debit. As a SDD member, we can collect payments on your behalf and deliver them directly to your virtual account.


There may be a certain amount of risk involved when collecting payments from customers in different countries. In addition, the process of recovering late payments from an EU member state other than your own could result in increased costs for your business.


In order to collect the payments, the following info is required:

  • To create new mandate
  • debtor name
  • debtor IBAN
  • debtor BIC
  • mandate ID
  • valid from
  • valid to
  • mandate file
  • recurring yes / no
  • To collect payment
  • mandate id
  • amount
  • transaction purpose
  • purpose code (optional)
  • purpose info code (optional)
  • settlement date

  • Up to €4.99:   €0.20 fee
  • Above €5:   3.9% fee

Please note that fees may vary. This could be due to eg. Chargeback request rates.

Restrictions

My EU Pay has placed a number of restrictions on the type of industries, activities, and countries we are able to support and service.


Please note that SDD is not available for the following industries:

  • Ponzi / Pyramid Schemes
  • Firms involved in the servicing of illegal goods/services including but not limited to: Counterfeit Goods/trademark infringement, Human Trafficking, Child Labor, Prostitution.
  • Financial Institutions making payments on behalf of other financial institutions, also known as ‘nested relationships’ or ‘Layering.’
  • Shell Banks
  • Unregistered Charities
  • Political Organizations
  • Adult Entertainment
  • Weapons / Military-Grade Security
